We made a quick trip to the Mt. Magazine - the highest point in Arkansas - last weekend. It was a surprisingly short drive, and the new lodge is very nice. We had an unseasonably warm day last Saturday, so I thought we should hike up to the top of the mountain and enjoy the nice weather. However, after we checked in, all that the kids wanted to do was swim in the indoor pool. So, that's what we did: swim, eat, and swim some more. The next morning, we woke up to 35 degree weather and misting rain! After breakfast, we packed our bags and headed home.
