The shortest summer ever is officially in the books! We finally got in some back-to-school shopping. The supply lists weren't too bad. Nate's uniform (polo and khakis) made shopping for him pretty easy, but it was a little more involved for the fashionista. :)

We also helped the kids throw a baby shower for one of their favorite teachers, Mrs. McBride. Nate had her for 4th grade and Ash has her for EAST. The evening's entertainment was a babysitter competition which included diapering stuffed animals, bottle chugging, and baby food tasting. Nate came in 3rd place despite his utter lack of diapering skills. (Call him when they are potty-trained!)

Ash missed Open House at her school due to some orthodontic issues, but we all made it to Nate's the Sunday before school started. While Jeff and I were volunteering, these good little helpers organized all the donations. Meanwhile, big bro was finishing his summer reading the day before school started back.
