#fastest40

We went to Fayetteville this weekend and watched the Hogs destroy Auburn 86-67. After the last 2 football seasons, I had almost forgotten how good it feels to win! Nathan said it was the best basketball game that he's ever gone to. He really enjoyed all the dunks, and he had a close up on the big screen "Smile Cam" wearing his tusk snout. It was Ashley's first time to Bud Walton. She had a good time, too, but I'm pretty sure her favorite part was the concession stand. :)

Science Fair 2014

Three years, three medals. Nathan took 2nd place in his class at the Science Fair this year and was in the top ten overall. This has earned him a spot in the District Elementary Science Fair. Way to go, Nate! As usual, it was a family affair. Even more so this year as the title was "Is my Sister Louder than a Fire Engine?" (In case you're wondering, she is not. But it was very close!) This was definitely not the most "scientific" of Science Fair projects that we've done, but they had fun and maybe learned a little something.

Our soccer team was well represented in the medal count. Congrats to all!

And apparently it is now an annual tradition to celebrate afterward at Chick-Fil-A.

Thanks to Morgan, Lydia, and cousin Jim at the fire station for helping collect our data.

Happy New Year!

What's been going on in 2014? Surprisingly, not much the first few weeks. We are finally rehabbed from the sled crash and getting around a little more. A couple of weeks ago, Jeff helped Dad put up some insulation in the new building. Nathan, Mom, and I went for a walk. The creek was full and flowing. Ash was still hobbling around, so she stayed inside doing what she does best: being a diva. ;)

Last weekend, we headed to Mnt. View to celebrate Jennifer's birthday. We were lucky to have some nice weather. (It's been bitterly cold this winter!) We went riding around their property and finally met their dog, Rocky. It was love at first sight for Ash. I didn't get any pictures of her playing with him though.
