Getting There

It's hard to believe that it has been two weeks since we dropped the Stacys off at DFW for their trip to the other side of the world. We quickly said our goodbyes at the airport and then high-tailed it back to Arkansas just ahead of this storm.
Unfortunately, the storm delayed their take-off, and they missed the connection in San Fransico by only a few minutes. I tracked their flights and took screen shots because (1) I'm a huge nerd and (2) I thought they might want to look back at these pics. (Actual photos from Amanda.)
After an unexpected stay in San Fran and a rerouted flight plan, they were finally off across the Pacific Ocean. Here's the plane passing by Hawaii -- which is only 1/3 of the way there!!
They made it to Sydney with just one more flight across the continent of Australia to get to their final destination. I've texted Amanda, but we have not talked yet. I'm anxious to have our first international video chat this week to see how it's going.
