We swapped Ashley for Brandon for a couple of days this week and did some things with just the boys. We started with making a trip to my co-worker's fireworks stand and loading up on some explosives!
Next, we got our BBQ on at Whole Hog. Brandon declared it the best brisket he's ever had!
After a 4th of July lunch with Jeff's family, we went to a place that I've been successfully avoiding since it opened: Playtime Pizza (a.k.a. Vegas for children). Brandon was dying to rematch me at laser tag, so we went there and pretty much had the place to ourselves! Seriously, there were maybe a two dozen other people in the building including the workers. We did everything in the building with no waiting.
Nate hit the jackpot on his first try on this fishing game! It takes a long time for those machines to spit out 1000 tickets!
It's hard to get Brandon to look at the camera for one picture, so I don't know why I thought we should give the photo booth a try!
We ended our busy day by watching the fireworks downtown. We left just in time to see the grand finale crossing the bridge on the way home.
