Greetings from Grand Cayman

The Adams Family is on a much-needed, low-key, relaxing vacation. Seriously, other than the travel arrangements and some dining options, I've only planned one activity for the whole week…and you know how I like to plan! :) We loved our trip to Hawaii two years ago, but wanted something we could feasibly do in a week.  We decided to get another stamp on the family passports and headed to the Caribbean.  We left LIT early this morning and made it to Grand Cayman in time for lunch.

The people here have been SO friendly! We found that out as we Jeff was trying to figure out how to drive on the LEFT side of the road, and some sweet woman had mercy on us. She rolled down  her window, asked where we were going, and told us to follow her. She was literally a God-send! God bless you nice lady in the Jeep!

I guess the friendliness is contagious. I met one of our condo neighbors who is on holiday from Scotland, and she was also super nice. We're staying at a condo on the northern end of Seven Mile Beach. The entire complex is just four, beautifully furnished units with a private pool. They provide everything you could need for a day at the beach even kayaks and a paddle board. Speaking of the beach, this is how crowded it was on Sunday afternoon.

On our first half day here, we got in hours of snorkeling. We are within walking distance of Cemetery Beach Reef. We saw lots of fish, some small rays, and Jeff and Nate even swam with this guy.
