It was actually one superhero and a princess. I let Nathan and Ashley wear their costumes - Batman and Snow White, respectively - to the doughnut shop and grocery shopping this morning. Most people recognized Nathan as Batman immediately, and if they acknowledged him and not Ashley, she would squeal, "I Snow White!"
It could be the white/blond hair throwing people off.Did anybody tell Ashley that Snow White has black hair? She looks cute and you're a better mother than me. If my kids wanted to go in public in their costumes(except Halloween) I don't even think they would bother to ask me b/c they know they would get a resounding "no way, it's not Halloween are you crazy?"
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'm a better mother. In fact, I let them wear them because it was easier than fighting with them to take them off!
