I don't mean to dampen the mood of Renee's cheerful posts, but it's been a hard week in the Adams' household. Our dog Jake got very sick this week, and we had to have him put to sleep yesterday. We got him when he was just a puppy right after we moved into this house. That was nearly 8 years ago. He was a good dog, and we miss him already.
I'm so sorry. I hope Nathan is coping ok. It's hard for a little guy to understand something like that.

ReplyDeleteEveryone's doing fine. We're sad, but fine. We aren't planning to get another dog right now. We told Nathan that he could pick out a new pet when he's 7, and he was very excited about that. We'll see if we hold out that long.
