Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, everyone! We went to the early service at church this morning, and then my family came over for lunch. We had our traditional Easter meal: ham, vegetables, rolls, and Jell-O Eggs. The Jell-O eggs started as a joke years ago (before we had kids), and now they are an Easter tradition. (Sorry, no pictures of the Jell-O Eggs.) Jeff skipped out on lunch to go to the last session of the NCAA tournament, so I made my favorite dessert - German chocolate cake - since the coconut-hater wouldn't be here. It was delicious!

Kids eating their pre-meal snack: whole, raw, organic carrots. Now, don't be fooled by the healthiness of their snack. They ate Easter bunnies for breakfast!

  1. I just realized that when my kids aren't around there only half as many kids!! I bet it was nice and quiet. By the way my green beans turned out great!

  2. You will have to stop buying sleeveless Easter dresses! Lily won't be able to wear it next year! Ha,ha! It did snow last year on Easter and it snowed this Saturday just flurries on the day before Easter. However all jokes aside, the kids look adorable.

  3. Don't worry - there's a white sweater to go with the dress. But it's size 18-24 months, so you will probably be getting it later this summer.
