Big Man on Campus

On Monday, Nathan had his last "First Day" at Roberts. It's sad that this might be the last year that he and Ashley go to the same school until they're SENIORS AND FRESHMEN in high school. For now, we're just hoping to have great 5th and 2nd grade years.

We planned to have a quiet, relaxing weekend at home before school starts back tomorrow. Well...that didn't quite happen. Instead we did a little...

Camp Aunt Debbie 2013

While the kids have loved every year at Camp Aunt Debbie, this was unanimously voted the best one ever!  Over the course of 5 days, they went to 2 splash parks, 2 museums, 2 movies, and more! I was worn out just hearing about all they did.

The highlight of the week was the Wild Wilderness Drive-Thru Safari in Gentry. They all LOVED it! Nathan's favorite animal was a monkey named Kojak, Jenna liked the pot-bellied pigs, and Ashley is now asking for a pet ferret!  (By the way, Dad, be forewarned that I told her the only way she could get one is to talk Papa getting one that lives at his house.)

Wrapping Up Our Busy Summer

I thought I would share a few random pics of what else has been going on this summer.

We dog-sat Daisy for  a week while Mom and Dad were out of town.  She loves it here.  Can't you tell? ;)

And now it's time to start thinking about going back to school.  School supplies--check!
